Who are You Listening to?

It seems that everywhere I look, people are trying to say that Pope Leo is, "clearly going to continue the direction of Francis". Well, let me take that back: more specifically: everywhere that I look in both the pagan media, and the extreme liberal and modernist Catholics; which is the reason I give it little acceptance. They write this as a sort of wishful thinking. Now I do not know exactly how Pope Leo is going to direct the Church during his pontificate (though there are a lot of really encouraging clues!) but it does not appear that the pagans and liberals are correct.

What concerns me though, is not what people who reject the gospel say about the Pope. What concerns me is that people listen to them. Someone came to me recently with a (supposed) news story that was shocking (it does not matter what the story was about). When we checked the source it turned out this person was listening to a pagan media outlet. They had distorted the story just enough, and used turns of phrase to make it appear different than what the truth was. Of course, they used just enough truth to float the lies, but the lies disguised the truth completely.

What is your source for information? Is it a neighbor's ideas, a pagan news outlet, or maybe comments you read on youtube? We must be very cautious in who we trust, especially when there are so many people lying just to get a rise out of others. They (and the devil who is influencing them) want you upset, they want you to lose hope because that is what makes them happy. Do not give in to them. Yes, it may be hard to discern the truth, but if we really want what is right, and not just what is sensational, then God will provide a means for us to find out all that we need to know.
