The Crucifixion

Every single dogma, each doctrine, all the teachings of the Catholic Church can be found in one thing: the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This idea was brought to my attention years ago, and the more I think about it, the more that I realize it is far more profound and much deeper than we can ever understand. It is impossible to comprehend this reality. This is the reason why every heresy is, at root, an attack on the person and work of Christ; learn what Good Friday is about, and you will have the basis of all theology. So, once again: every Catholic truth is found in the Cross.
