Stop Hating Men!

Most diocese' today do have a vocations crisis; i.e. priests falling away from the faith, fewer men considering the priesthood, borrowing priests from other countries, etc. There are numerous reasons why this has happened. The most obvious reason is the liberalizing of church practice, but that is the subject of another post (not to mention the posts I have already written about it). One of the things I have mentioned is that masculinity is under attack, and so it is natural for the priesthood to come under fire at the same time, since priests are only male (all priests are actually male, but not all are actually real men--that is another subject).

An insightful priest has pointed this out in a very profound way and I wanted everyone to have a listen; I could not say it any better than he has.
