Simple Respect

I went to a motorcycle dealer/mechanic recently (Heritage Indian Motorcycles, in Rogers, Arkansas). It was just after President Trump had required all federal buildings to fly their flags at half mast in respect for the passing of Pope Francis. No, Indian Motorcycles is not a federal organization, nor are they Catholic. Yet, that particular dealer was flying the American flag at half mast. That shows simple respect. You do not have to follow the Pope, or even like him, to be able to show respect when he passes from this world. Things like that used to happen all the time, but they are rare today. Let us pray that people follow this example and have this common civil behavior spread throughout our nation.
