Show Them Jesus; Confidently

It should be no surprise that false religions are afraid of the truth. Whether it be a pagan religion, or just a simple heathenist view, they all try their hardest to avoid being cornered by truth. One of the most obvious signs of someone who does not really believe that the religion he follows has the truth is when he spends more time resisting the Catholic faith, than standing for his own beliefs. There is nothing wrong with seeking to refute something you do not believe in; yet many today are more concerned with attacking the Catholic faith than with defending their own faith. Why is it almost always the Catholic faith that is attacked more than any other?

Atheism is possibly the most desperate religion on the planet. I have never met an atheist who clearly is confident in his beliefs. They are always trying to justify their denial of God (likely because down deep they know it is wrong and are trying to prop themselves up). It is quite remarkable how frequently they attack the one true God revealed in the Church, and how infrequently they attack the muslim or hindu concepts of God. Atheism is after all, the religion of self-divinity, and only the Church speaks of a God Who is absolute divinity, who allows no competitors.

So then, stand confident in the Catholic faith. Do not be afraid of lies, or of pagan or heathen denials of the truth. Show the world the wonders and beauties of our God. Point out the errors of the devil to those who are led astray by him, but do not make that all you care about. Jesus said that when He is lifted up on the cross and seen as the One, True, Savior then the world will know He is also their Lord.
