Praying Against Sodomy

Every year in June I am reminded at the amazing coincidence (?) of the feast day of St. Charles Lwanga and his companions. They were martyred for refusing to give in to abuse by sodomites. We remember their sacrifice today, at the beginning of the month of June. Yes, it is the same month when those who approve of the sin of sodomy, have been making their impenitence clear (i.e. "pride") for the past few years. They are saying, "I love my sin, and I am proud about it!" (making it doubly grave). What a relief it was this morning to read that President Trump jettisoned former "President" Biden's pride month. I am not certain that "Title IX Month" fits exactly with Catholic theology (I do not know enough about it yet), but it is a vast improvement over "Perversion Month".
In addition, just yesterday a Canadian Cardinal openly declared "pride flags" to be contrary to the Catholic faith and told his people it was wrong to have or use them. He said that they "do not represent us as Catholics, but rather contribute to confusion, distortions and ambiguities about what the Catholic faith truly teaches regarding the human person, human nature, and natural moral law." He also said that, "We ought to honour and respect our traditions and not compromise the integrity of the faith by using symbols that are contrary to God’s divine revelation." May God bless that faithful and godly Cardinal.
He is speaking exactly in accord with two thousand years of Catholic teaching, and Holy Scripture in both Old and New Testaments. Any Catholic clergyman or parish who wants to support a prideful attitude about grave sin is at war with God (and they will lose that war!). Our Holy Father, Leo does not appear to have the same sentiments that Pope Francis did, and it may help to embolden Bishops and Priests to stand up for what is good and godly. It may also deter those who formerly encouraged these compromises with the Catholic faith to cease and desist. May God grant them repentance.
Let us pray to St. Charles Lwanga and his companions and ask that they will pray for our nation (and other nations as well). You, yourselves, need to pray against sodomy today, and throughout this month. Pray that our Lord will grant repentance to all who have fallen into this grave wickedness and that they will turn from the path of the devil unto the path of holiness and righteousness. Furthermore, if any of you have friends or relatives who have been taken captive by the lies of Sodom and Gomorrah, pray extra for them, and seek to do what you can (speaking the truth in love) to bring them to the foot of the cross of our Savior. His grace is powerful enough to overcome any sin.
