Please Pray

I know that a number of you struggle with the official ecclesiastical status of Pope Francis. I understand completely your struggles in this regard. Whatever your position may be, we all must admit that he holds a great deal of power and influence in the Church and in the world. Like him or not, he is the one who currently still sits in the Chair of St. Peter, and his health appears to be declining quickly. There are a few confirmed reports about this, and a few rumors as well. Regardless of what is accurate, we all need to pray for him right now. Pray for God to have mercy on him (as we should for any Catholic clergyman), and that he would be fully penitent of his sins so that he can pass from this world in the grace of God. Whether that day is soon or not, lift him up before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
