People We Can Help

I heard a story recently about a man who had a friend who was blind. He once let his friend drive a car, and just sat in the passenger seat and watched what happened. Now this may sound like a foolish idea, but wait until you hear more. When he let his blind friend drive, they were out on a dry lake bed. It was about 50 square miles of just flat ground; no other cars, no other people, no animals, nothing that he could hit and he just drove in a (relatively) straight line for almost an hour. He said it was fantastic.

Do you know someone who is hurting and needs an encouragement? Maybe you know someone who is in need of some assistance that you can provide. We all know someone who can use our help, but we often presume someone else will do it. If we take the time to think about those people that God has put into our lives, God can open our hearts to learn how we might be able to help them. Yes, it may even be something as creative as driving on a dry lake bed! Be ready to be used by God, and He will use you in amazing ways.
