"Morality"

Roe v Wade is now gone, and people who see babies as inconveniences are getting desperate. Some of their arguments are simply insane. The worst one I have come across is so self-contradictory that it is amazing they do not see it. They will claim (without a smirk!) that we should not "legislate morality". They make this claim as though there is a legislation somewhere in the world (anywhere?!) that does not have a moral aspect to it. That is the whole point of laws -- to enforce a moral and ethical rule on a society (good laws or bad laws, it is all the same). Even their desire to allow the wholesale slaughter of the unborn is a legislation of "morality". It is a faulty and gravely evil concept of what is moral, but that is what it is--their "morality". So then, what would happen if we showed up in front of a planned parenthood clinic with signs that said "Don't legislate morality!"? They probably would not get it, but I hope you do.
