Devotions to Our Lady

Every Catholic should have some kind of devotion to our Lady. Even if it is not a specific devotional practice (e.g. the Immaculate Heart, etc.), there should be some kind of heartfelt connection to her, since she is our Mother. If you have no devotion at all, then begin looking into each of them, and I am certain one will touch your heart in a special way.
Right now, I am doing a novena to our Lady as the Untier of Knots. It is really my favorite devotion to her because it has so much power in it. Look up the painting or one of the statues to Our Lady Untier of Knots. The simple expression of motherly love in working through the knots that we find in our lives is enough to overwhelm even the coldest heart.
You do not need to have the same devotion as I, or as anyone else, but if you do not feel like you connect to Mother Mary, then you are truly missing something because Jesus gave her to you. This is because, the graces found in her, are the same graces Jesus wants to give to each of us. He wants us to understand our own faith better by understanding her faith.
On the cross, He said to the Apostle John, "behold your mother". In doing so, the steady tradition of the Church is that Jesus was making Mary the mother of all the faithful, and telling each one of us to "behold" her. In other words, do not just look at her as though she is merely one more saint. If you "behold" her as He said, then you will truly find devotion to her.
